Malawi - Competitiveness and Job Creation Support Project

The Competitiveness and Job Creation Support Project is a standalone operation designed to strengthen the partnership between the public and private sectors. It involves the public sector and private sector working together to improve the private sector's competitiveness in order to promote broad-based economic growth and development, export diversification and job creation. The public sector provides incentives to private sector operators to develop innovative approaches to improve the inclusiveness of growth and competitiveness in the private sector. This project will contribute to the reduction of poverty and vulnerability to socioeconomic shocks in Malawi. Its total cost is UA 11.18 million over a five-year period.
