The project includes installation of 35 hatch-pit systems across airport aprons, mobile battery-powered units with 20 charging points, and a major upgrade to the airport's electrical infrastructure with new substations, generators, and a network integrated with the national grid. The initiative aims to save around 1,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually and is expected to be completed by 2028. |
