The initiative is being carried out by the special purpose vehicle Transporte Energia (TNE), with sponsorship from Alupar and Eletronorte. The total project cost is expected to be BRL 1,062bn (approximately $214 million), of which $140m was financed through a loan from Banco da Amazônia.
