Description | The project entails the construction of a 31.5MW capacity wind power plant in Mandal-Jharasangam, Kohir, Medak district, Telangana by Clean Wind Power Anantapur Pvt Ltd ("Project Company"). Sole sponsor of the project is Hero Wind Energy (Hero Group). The project is eligible for revenue subsidy under the Generation Based Incentive Scheme in the Wind Power Sector in India. The total project cost is $36.6 million (INR2.45bn). Financing comprises a $29.3 million (INR 1.96 billion) 15-year term loan provided by Srei Infrastructure Finance, and a $7.3 million (INR 490 million) equity. Financial close occurred on 7 June 2016.
