Description | Brazilian asset manager Vinci Infraestrutura’s investment fund has concluded the acquisition of 2 wind farms from Petrobras and Wobben Windpower. These are Mangue Seco III and Mangue Seco IV wind farms in Rio Grande do Norte, Northeastern Brazil. The deal consolidated Petrobras’ exit from the electricity market. Vinci Energia investment fund’s subsidiary V2I Energia acquired all shares of Mangue Seco 3 and Mangue Seco 4 (51% Wobben and 49% Petrobras) for a total amount of R100.7 million ($17.85 million). Financial closure was achieved in April 2021. Both wind projects are part of a larger complex that comprises 4 wind farms located in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte.
