This project in Sports Infrastructure sub-sector involves Setting up of Sports University/College The current status of the project is Work in Progress and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project It will give a boost to sporting activities in the country. Setting up of the proposed University has considerable employment generation potential, both direct and indirect. Directly, the proposed University would require Faculty for teaching, guiding research and other related activities, Coaches for imparting training, Medical Officers and Nurses for attending to the medical needs, and also Administrative and Support Staff for attending to its administrative and day- to-day requirements. |
