Description | The district civil hospital at Mankapur, a state-of-the-art G+2 hospital building, has opened for outpatient services after a long delay. The hospital construction started in 2018 and was completed after 13 years of delay since sanction in 2012. The hospital includes a 40-bed eye hospital block and is connected to a 100-bed Critical Care Hospital Block under the Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission. Phase I cost was around Rs 45 crore, and an additional Rs 15 crore has been sanctioned for phase II works including a ramp and fire exit. |
