Description | Global Lithium Resources acquired the Nova nickel operation from IGO to accelerate production from its Manna lithium project while reducing development costs. The acquisition includes the Nova processing plant and associated infrastructure in Western Australia. The plan is to use Nova's existing crushing facility to process direct shipping ore from Manna, transport high-grade ore by road to Nova for crushing and sorting, and then truck it to Esperance Port. This will generate early cashflow while the processing plant is converted for spodumene concentrate production, with production planned to commence by mid-2027. |
