Manner Polymers has opened a new 108,000-square-foot, 100% solar-powered PVC compounding manufacturing facility in Mount Vernon, Illinois. The plant produces electric vehicle PVC compounds, components for solar panels, and materials for various industries, expanding production capacity to 100 million pounds and creating over 60 jobs. The facility uses clean energy generated on-site and includes a new rail spur for direct rail access, supported by a $54 million investment and a $2.5 million infrastructure incentive from the State of Illinois.
