The project is a reply to several basic needs - development of European citizenship, better future in the EU, cohesion, strength, and perspective. We will discuss the better future of the EU with the participants during lectures, workshops, and debates. The participants will have the occasion to fully participate. Opinions and needs may be articulated aloud. It is our wish to develop the cooperation with countries and improve democratic participation of the EU citizens. The integrity of the objectives will depend on strong relations between the partners. The whole project is in accordance with the basic values of the European Union and the priorities and objectives of the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV). The aim is for all member states to proceed together as the Union. The programme will offer members of different nations and language groups the opportunity to cooperate in all common activities. Citizens of Kostolná pri Dunaji, citizens of our partner municipalities, and citizens of neighbouring regions in all partner countries belong to the target groups. However, we do not classify people into target groups, as their equality is so important for us. Each and every citizen, regardless of his/her colour or sexual orientation, can take active part in the activities and develop his/her personality. We are convinced that the project can be attended by any man or women in any age, any education, regardless of faith, sexual orientation, or race. The project outcomes will guarantee organization and coordination of the desired activities in the event. There will be lectures, presentations, discussions, and workshops for citizens, whose aim is to educate the citizens of all age categories. The themes proposed will be adapted to the project target groups. We will focus on programme composition so that it could attract children, young generation, adults, and also older persons.
