Description | The project will rehabilitate two (2) kilometres of Maple Hill Road in Powassan, Ontario. The work involves: aligning and raising the road elevation by 0.6 metres; improving drainage through ditching, a culvert replacement and lining an existing culvert; rehabilitating side slopes to enhance stability; and installing new guide rails that meet provincial standards. The project will improve road safety and reliability, prevent annual flooding and washouts of the road, reduce lifecycle costs, and prevent asset failure. |
