Maple Leaf Park Splash Pad

Maple Leaf Park is a park in Toronto’s west end. This project creates an improved park by designing and constructing a new splash pad at Maple Leaf Park. This project will help meet a provision target of one splash pad per 24,000 new residents. The scope for the new splash pad includes a variety of water play spray features or in-ground jets activated by users, and related infrastructure including water service, piping to spray features, drainage system, etc. The work also includes supporting landscape elements, an accessible pathway, and seating areas. The splash pads provides access to an affordable, self-scheduled, play opportunity for all children and families. It facilitates unstructured play for children individually or as a group. The splash pad will offer a cooling opportunity on warm days and during heat alerts.
