Sponsored by the OA Consortium, consisting of Omega Perú OyM and Concesiones Perú Holdings Transmision I, the project was awarded based on the lowest total service cost per year. The consortium will handle the design, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the project for 30 years from the contract signing. The total project cost is $98.5 million.
