Description | The project budget of $785,000 for this study is funded by the Flood Zone 3 budget. This project leverages several previous drainage and stormwater studies completed in the past decade. Several technical solutions have been identified in these past studies and from the community input, some of which are already proceeding toward implementation (see Marin City Pond Pump Station Design). This effort focuses on communicating the technical solutions with the Marin City residents so that the community can understand and support implementation of the plan in the future. The Marin City Stormwater Plan is a drainage study aimed at reducing flood risk in Marin City, an unincorporated neighborhood near Richardson Bay. The plan will address existing flooding conditions and identify potential solutions that enhance flood resilience in Marin City while accounting for community priorities. The goal is to: |
