It is a 78-acre solar farm built near North Seventh Street in Marshall, Minnesota. The project includes 21,000 solar panels and a battery backup system to enhance reliability, allowing energy to be stored and dispatched when solar energy is not being produced. The solar farm generates about 23,000 megawatt hours of energy per year, enough to power more than 2,000 homes. Native pollinator-friendly plants are established on the land under the solar panels.
