Marshview Middle School - Ventilation Upgrades

Project consists of the installation of classroom ventilation units in Marshview Middle School. The school includes 23 classrooms in the original 1950’s construction, which are naturally ventilated through exterior windows. A large addition in the late 1960’s, currently has original obsolete unit ventilators which will be replaced as part of this project. Proposed scope includes the installation of air handling units equipped with energy recovery and electric heat to precondition outdoor air and deliver to the spaces. Total air volume delivered to the classrooms will encourage removal of airborne contaminants. A building automation system will be included in the project to provide centralized control and scheduling, improving energy efficiency. All work will be undertaken within the footprint of the existing school.
