Description | The Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project is a proposed transmission line to address forecasted resource adequacy issues in central Maryland. The project requires a certificate of public convenience and necessity (CPCN) from the Public Service Commission and faces significant local opposition with analysis, testimony, and public hearings scheduled for 2026. The Public Service Commission will not rule on the project until 2027. |
