Mason County AI Data Center Complex

planned

A major artificial intelligence infrastructure project is proposed near Mason County Airport, with plans to create one of the largest data center complexes in the world. The project is led by global AI infrastructure company Nscale and involves national partners. It aims to bring thousands of jobs and significant economic development to Mason County, West Virginia. Concerns have been raised by residents about environmental impact, noise, water usage, air pollution, and lack of public input. State delegate Jonathan Pinson is acting as a liaison between the company and the community to address these concerns.
