Description | The project entails the construction of the 55MW Masrik-1 Solar power plant in the municipality of Masrik, Armenia. The SPV is called FRV Masrik CJSC and is owned by FRV La Providencia which owns 75% alongside FSL Solar which has a 25% stake. FRV was selected to build the project following an auction process in April 2018. The winning bid was for Dram20.11 ($0.042) per kWh. The total project cost is $53.01 million and EBRD ($17.7 million), IFC ($17.7 million) and Ameriabank ($3.71) are providing the long-term debt financing.
