Matachewan First nation water treatment plant equipment upgrade and replacement

The upgrades to the water treatment plant includes replacement and upgrade the Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) computer to a new Window 7 computer with new licenses as it is over 10 years old and currently failing. With the new SCADA comes a new computer with new licenses. Replace three (3) high lift variable speed drives (VFD) as they are failing and not maintaining pressure in the system. Replace 2 (two) failing turbidity meters. Repair 3 sodium hypochlorite pumps with 3 new rebuilt kits. Replace 2 (two) failing chlorine and pH meters. As the water will be less at risk of contamination, this will reduce the burden on the Provincial health system.
