Matador Power Complex Project

The Matador project is the world's largest integrated power complex combining nuclear and gas power generation to produce up to 17 gigawatts of electricity. It supplies power directly to specific companies such as AI data centers through a private power grid model. The project involves constructing a power complex on a site in Texas spanning about 30 square kilometers, including four AP1000 nuclear reactors designed by Westinghouse, alongside natural gas combined cycle power. Korean companies Hyundai Engineering & Construction and Doosan Enerbility are collaborating in nuclear power plant design and key equipment.
