THE PORTAL transforms the harsh reality of Syrian refugee camps into a transcendent sci-fi journey, following young Sana as she discovers a cosmic gateway to rescue children lost to war. I AM GOD dives into the zeitgeist with sharp wit, following five middle-aged souls at a Polish spiritual festival where self-discovery meets satire. In ELSEWHERE, Sudanese-Swedish director Issraa Elkogali Häggström weaves animation with live action to create a mesmerizing exploration of the Sudanese diaspora. MY SKIN AND I marks our exciting venture into the U.S. market, crafting a surreal documentary about revenge, exile, and family bonds. THE PASSPORT brilliantly balances dark humor with poignant commentary, following the absurd journey of a deceased Gazan man stranded in Belgrade. Finally, LIFESCORE marks an exciting directorial debut, envisioning a dystopian future where a parent's desperate search for medical help becomes a powerful commentary on society.
