Description | In May 2012, a local private company Shitai Natural Gas Company Limited based in Inner Mongolia signed an agreement with the Mayang County Government to build and operate LNG facilities in Mayang County, Hunan Province. Construction commenced in July 2012 and was expected to take three years to finish. It seemed over 25% of construction was completed in Nov 2012. First phase of the project was completed in Nov 2013. The total investment was about US$ 24.21 million (RMB 150 million) and Shitai had a 100% stake in the project. A special purpose vehicle Mayang Sentai Gas Company Limited was set up in Mayang County to conduct the project. |
