The Mayfield Recreation Complex - Infrastructure Improvements (the Project) consists of new construction and rehabilitation work at the aquatic facility. The project scope involves: • Excavation, repair and upgrade of the foundation arena surrounding the aquatics facility • repair of the aquatic facility foundation including cement, waterproofing and drainage; • installation of controls on pool heater equipment to create efficiencies during off hours; • rehabilitation and expansion of showers in arena change rooms; • replacement of benching and hangers in the pool and arena; and • replacement of the main lobby flooring. The project will result in an increase to the serviceable life of the foundation of the aquatic facility and the pool heaters. It will also result in greater energy efficiency and improve client comfort.
