Description | The Mayflower bridge project started just over a year ago replacing the bridges over Ardmore Trail and the South Shore rail lines. The project involved replacing two bridge superstructures. The South Shore line bridge was set to be done this year while the Ardmore trail bridge was set to be done mid next year. An issue was found with the elevations in the approach slab on the Ardmore bridge, requiring replacement. A temporary patch will allow the bridge to open temporarily, but it will need to be re-closed in spring for complete repairs. |
