MCC Belize Energy Project Funding Reallocation

planned

The project involves the reallocation of twenty million U.S. dollars in funding from the Education Project to the Energy Project under the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Belize Compact. This shift aims to address pressing needs in the country's energy sector, focusing more on diesel production of energy rather than renewable energy, in line with changes in U.S. administration priorities. The Government of Belize will provide counterpart financing to support the implementation of the compact.
