The drive aims to plug revenue leakage by issuing over 5,000 notices to residents to regularize illegal connections and clear pending dues. The civic body has also launched a fully online system for applying for drinking water and sewerage connections, digitizing the process end to end. Additionally, MCG is working on a pilot project for 24x7 water supply and plans to integrate water and sewerage connections with the no-dues certificate portal to boost revenue recovery. |
