McGettigan Boulevard Upgrades

The project consists of constructing a new sidewalk, upgrades to existing water and sewer laterals, construction of a new turning lane, and upgrades to existing roadway in the Town of Marystown. The scope of the project includes constructing an additional turning lane, 1200 meters of sidewalk to one side of the road, and upgrades to 6 existing water and sewer laterals. The existing traffic lights at Penny Street Intersection will be upgraded to current standards and an additional traffic light will be added at Ville Marie intersection. The project aims to make vehicle traffic flow better, provide a safer walking surface for pedestrian access and provide better water and sewer services.
