Project MSL-0004-00(429) consists of the widening and reconstruction of McGinnis Ferry Road from approximately 50 feet west of the Chattahoochee River Bridge within Fulton and Forsyth Counties, Georgia. The project length is approximately 5.27 miles. A six lane, divided, urban section with a 20-foot raised median is proposed between Sargent Road and John¿s Creek Parkway (approximately 1 mile). A four-lane, divided, urban section with a 44-foot depressed median is proposed between John¿s Creek Parkway and Chattahoochee River (approximately 4.27 miles). A five-foot sidewalk is proposed on the south side of the mainline and a six-foot sidewalk is proposed on the north side of the mainline for the entire length of the project. GRTA Bond Project.
