Description | The McIlvenna Bay Project is a copper–zinc mine in Saskatchewan, Canada. The project is approximately 91% complete, with grid power now energized and the ore stockpile nearly full. The project has moved into cold commissioning on schedule and remains within budget. Key surface work, including process plant fit-out for flotation, is largely complete. An 85-kilometer, 110-kilovolt transmission line has been energized, providing secure, renewable hydropower-linked electricity to the site. The pre-production ore stockpile is essentially full, supporting mill feed as final readiness checks finish. The project targets commercial production by mid-2026. |
