Description | Energy Vault Holdings Inc has acquired a 175-MW/350-MWh battery energy storage project known as the McMurtre BESS, located near Dallas, Texas. The project is expected to reach notice to proceed in Q4 2026 and achieve commercial operation in December 2027. It will use Energy Vault's proprietary B-VAULT AC Technology Platform 3 and is projected to generate annual revenues of USD 15-20 million, with total lifetime revenues over USD 350 million. The project will be integrated into Energy Vault's Asset Vault platform and is located in the ERCOT North market, a key US power market with strong demand growth and increasing grid stability needs. |
