LASH GROUP OF COMPANIES PUTS THE SPOTLIGHT ON SCARBOROUGH Toronto’s east end anxiously awaits ME! Blazing the trail to the east, Lash Group of Companies is getting ready to launch ME, a gorgeous new community that combines contemporary urban design and the finest lifestyle amenities with a location that’s about to burst with new life. ME stands for Markham + Ellesmere, a neighbourhood that already offers amazing opportunities for residents who want to hop on the highway and be downtown quickly, or out of town just as fast; who want transit at the doorstep and a full roster of convenient services; who want to shop till they drop with all the one-stop convenience of the big, bright, newly renovated Scarborough Town Centre; and who are looking to complement an active lifestyle with an abundance of parks and paths. The number and variety of parks alone is staggering, from cosy spaces for a quick evening walk with the dog to the big urban oases of Morningside Park and Highland Creek, to the vast Rouge River Valley and the grand Scarborough Bluffs, each offering a unique character and a variety of outdoor activities. All manner of schools are nearby, including Centennial College and U of T campuses. Perfect opportunities to enhance family life are close; including quality daycares, houses of worship, medical centres and veterinary clinics. If it’s a good meal you’re after, there’s an option for every mood, including Thai, Italian, Indian, classic British-style fish ‘n chips and great burgers, all without even getting in the car. Forming the heart of this rich corner of the city, ME is one of the most highly anticipated community launches of the year. Elegant contemporary architecture by Turner Fleisher Architects, and the award-winning Tanner Hill & Associates designing the interiors and amenities, add up to incomparable style, complete with lush landscaping and a sparkling water feature (which becomes a skating area in the winter!) in the tree-lined courtyard. With suites starting at an awesome price of $149,900, absolutely everything at the doorstep, and the security of the family-run Lash Group of Companies and its five-decade history behind it, ME is poised to offer smart buyers the perfect gateway to life in this dynamic neighbourhood.
