Measure R School Bond for Bryon Union School District

planned

Measure R is a school bond measure proposed to raise $24 million for the Bryon Union School District in eastern Contra Costa County, California. The funds are intended to finance a new water well to replace the deteriorating well at Excelsior Middle School, modernize classrooms, improve technology, and enhance security measures across the district's three schools. The existing well is decades old, with issues such as a broken pump and leaking pipes, making the water unsafe to drink. Additionally, some school buildings are 40 years old, with structural problems like a sinking classroom.
