Description

Circular Services, a business unit of Closed Loop Partners, has been awarded a contract to operate recycling plants in Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The project involves operating an existing 48,500-square-foot Pence Road MRF in Charlotte as an interim facility for residential single-stream recyclables processing while the Metrolina MRF undergoes a retrofit. After the retrofit, expected mid-2026, Circular Services will operate the upgraded Metrolina MRF for residential single-stream processing and repurpose the Pence Road facility as a construction and demolition recycling facility.
