Description
Description | PT Multisakadaya developed the 12MW Multidaya Prima Elektrindo natural gas fired power plant, consisting of 2x6MW turbines in Kali Doni, Palembang, South Sumatra. Since July 2010, 85% of the project is owned by Medco Power Indonesia. The project signed a PPA with PLN in 2004, for 20 years. Commissioning took place on 30 April 2008. The project was acquired by Medco Energi, via its subsidiary Medco Power Indonesia, on 29 July 2010. The output was supplied to the communities in Jambi and Bengkulu. The acquisition costs were US$22 million, financed with long term debt from Bank CIMB Niaga in May 2010. This is assumed here to be the total project cost. Financial closure is assumed to be April 2008, date of commissioning. Power in Asia, IFC buys into Medco Power, 15 March 2012. http://medcopower.co.id/node/41 |
