This project proposes various median modifications on Beach Boulevard (State Road 212) and Atlantic Boulevard (State Road 10) to increase safety for motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists and other users of the corridor.FDOT proposes the following improvements on Beach Boulevard:Addition of a directionalized median at Walker Lane to eliminate northbound and southbound left turns from Walker Lane Closing the median at Everlee Road to eliminate left turns into and out of Everlee Road Closing the median at Palm Lane to eliminate left turns into and out of Palm Lane Closing the median at Shaw Road to eliminate left turns into and out of Shaw Road Addition of a directionalized median at the Jacksonville Humane Society to eliminate northbound and southbound left turns Addition of a directionalized median at Leon Road to eliminate northbound and southbound left turns from Leon Road and The Salvation Army drivewayFDOT proposes the following improvements on Atlantic Boulevard: Median modifications at Spring Forest Avenue and New Life Church to eliminate left turns Median modifications at Century Street to allow left turns only onto Century Street for eastbound travelers and eliminate southbound left turns from Century Street onto Atlantic Boulevard
