The Medical Devices Reprocessing Upgrades Remote/Rural Bundle 6 Project (the Project) consist of medical device reprocessing upgrades, architectural drawings and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems drawings/renovations in the following locations: Lac La Biche Healthcare Centre, Lac La Biche: Construction of new walls to provide separation of clean and sterile areas as well as process flow changes to reduce cross over circulation to reduce contamination of reprocessed equipment; reallocation and renovation of adjacent, shared space for laundry, housekeeping and circulation usage; installation of new, built-in equipment including but not limited to washers, disinfectors, cart washers; sterilizers; endoscope re-processors, and an Ultrasound Probe Disinfector. Bonnyville Healthcare Centre, Bonnyville: Renovation and interior expansion of existing space by 40 square metre; installation of hands-free sinks in soiled utility rooms; renovation in the decontamination area to include a separation from the clean laundry area; construction of a new area to reprocess the Gastrointestinal Endoscopes and Ultrasound Probes in on the clean side; installation of new, built-in equipment including but not limited to: washers and sanitizers, an Ultrasound Probe Disinfector, and Sterilizer. McLennan Healthcare Centre, McLennan: Renovation and interior expansion of a existing space by 50 square metre; installation of washer/sanitizers in soiled utility rooms; construction of a separate room proper separation in the assembly and clean storage area and installation of a cart washer; and installation of new equipment items including but not limited to: washers, sanitizers, a disinfector and a cart washer.
