Description
Description | The Medicine Hat City Hall Services Mobile App Project (the Project) includes the acquisition and implementation of a mobile application platform suitable for the delivery of City services through a digital channel. This will expand ways in which citizens can interact with the municipality safely. Reducing demand on in-person interactions for services such as safety alerts/information, new building permits, land sales, business licenses, service requests, payments, and inquiries increases safety in times such as a pandemic. To seamlessly migrate services to a mobile app, the acquisition and implementation of a modern application integration platform is required. To support efficient back-end systems and creation of a user-friendly, safe, and efficient digital interfaces for citizen-facing digital services, the City will require a service based enterprise application integration platform that will support migration of the point-to-point integrations onto a more scalable service-based on a unified application messaging platform. |
