Medicine Hat Echo Dale Water Treatment Plant Enhancements

The Medicine Hat Echo Dale Water Treatment Plant Enhancements Project (the Project) includes repair and upgrades to the current water treatment plant in Echo Dale Regional Park. The upgrades will ensure longevity and assured quality of recreational swimming, non-motorized boating, open space utilization, interpretive programming, and irrigation to the park turf/trees. The upgrades include: intake and wetland improvements, enhancements to treatment process and ancillary upgrades, new power and control wiring, new chemical metering pump, replacement cyclone separators, replacement of various valves and process piping, and replacement of Human Machine Interface control panel. The enhancements will help address a growing need to conserve water and improve efficiencies which will benefit the environment.
