Description

Description

The Medicine Hat Rooftop Units and Makeup Air and Air Handling Units for two Buildings Project (the Project) consists of replacement of three mounted heating/cooling rooftop units, two interior mounted air handling units for climate control at the Family Leisure Centre and replacement of one make-up air unit at the Medicine Hat Police Station. These five climate control heating ventilation and air conditioning units service the approximately 12,000 m2 Family Leisure Centre, including swimming pool, ice arena, field house, fitness center, and administration and multi-use areas. The one makeup air unit at the police station is a life safety system that ventilates the facility parking area and removes carbon monoxide and other vehicle exhaust. These units have reached their end of expected lifecycle. An engineering facility condition assessment and internal condition assessment have identified them as requiring replacement.
