Description | The Medium-Scale Solar on Industrial Rooftops project will complete a bankable feasibility study for the installation of approximately 11.6MW of solar on 12 industrial roof-tops in the Brisbane suburb of Eagle Farm.How the project worksThe Medium-Scale Solar on Industrial Rooftops project by EPC Technologies recognises that solar installations on industrial roof tops today are generally limited in scale by the local network owner requiring a zero-export device to be installed. This limits the scale of systems that can be constructed on large industrial roof-spaces to the peak energy load on that site.This limit on export is largely driven by the network’s requirement of maintaining stability of the system across the year and therefore is driven by a limited number of low demand days. |
