Description | Six ISTS-TBCB schemes with an aggregate estimated cost of Rs.29,092 crore have been cleared by the National Committee on Transmission. These schemes aim to strengthen interregional transfer capacities, integrate renewable energy from the southern region, transmit power to green hydrogen/ammonia plants in Andhra Pradesh, and evacuate hydropower from the Siang basin in Arunachal Pradesh. The schemes will develop over 5,000 ckm of transmission lines and around 48,000 MVA of transformation capacity across four regional grids. |
