Description
Description | Mind@Work – Mental Health in the Workplace: The Employer’s Perspective in Europe is an employers’ transnational EU-funded initiative aiming to promote mental health in the workplace through the lens of employers and their organisations. Mental health issues affect nearly one in two Europeans and represent a growing socio-economic challenge. Recognising the strategic role that employers can play in safeguarding workers’ psychological well-being, Mind@Work aims to equip them with the tools, knowledge, and policy guidance to prevent and manage psychosocial risks at work. The project, coordinated by FIEC (European Construction Industry Federation) for the European Employers’ Institute, is built around a robust consortium composed of: • 2 research partners: the European Employers' Institute (EEI), Fondazione ADAPT and its AE, ADAPT • 4 EU-level associated partners: ECEG, HOTREC, EuroCommerce, and CEEMET Together, these partners bring expertise in occupational health, social dialogue, and labour policy. The project’s methodology unfolds in three main phases: 1. Research – desk research and stakeholder interviews across Europe to map existing best practices and regulatory frameworks; 2. Thematic webinars – three online events targeting national employer organisations and policymakers, focusing on: (a) regulatory frameworks, (b) digitalisation & mental health, and (c) inequalities in the workplace; 3. Action Brief – a practical guideline for employers, summarising findings and recommendations to improve mental well-being in diverse work environments. Mind@Work will foster cross-border dialogue, strengthen the role of employers in shaping healthier workplaces, and contribute to the broader EU agenda on integrating mental health into employment and social policies. |
