Description | Meridian, Idaho is constructing a new $21 million community center and expanding Settlers Park. The 26,000-sq.-ft. community center will serve as a hub for community education programs and house the Meridian Fire Outreach Center. The project includes a gymnasium, fitness rooms, classrooms, meeting spaces, and outdoor patio areas. The park expansion will feature a fenced dog park, open green space, pathways, a playground, and 347 new parking spaces. The project is funded primarily by impact fees and is expected to be completed in late 2027 or early 2028. |
