The project involves applying hot chip seal to nearly five miles of the highway to improve and extend the roadway's life. Work includes nighttime lane closures, reduced speeds, and intermittent detours, with at least one lane open in each direction. The chip-sealing started near the intersection of Meridian and Kuna roads and extends north to the Interstate-84/Meridian Road interchange. The project is expected to conclude by late summer 2025, with some ramp closures at the I-84 interchange anticipated for a few nights. |
