Mersin-Gaziantep High-Speed Train Line

The Mersin-Gaziantep High Standard Railway Line Project is a massive infrastructure project in southern Türkiye that will reduce travel time between Mersin and Gaziantep from 6 hours and 23 minutes to just 2 hours and 15 minutes. The project is implemented by the EPC-F model and financed by the UKEF credit institution. It aims to reduce carbon emissions, boost the regional economy by integrating four major cities, and increase transportation capacity to 6.4 million passengers and 100 million tons of cargo annually. The infrastructure includes 6 viaducts, 6 tunnels, 32 railway bridges, 30 highway overpasses, 55 highway underpasses, 266 culverts, and 21 stations.
