Description | Mesabi Metallics Company LLC, an Essar Group company, is developing a Direct Reduction (DR) grade iron ore mine and pellet plant on more than 16,000 acres in northern Minnesota. The project aims to establish a domestic source of DR-grade iron ore to strengthen US steel supply chains and reduce reliance on imports.
