Meta Data Center Power Infrastructure Expansion

Entergy Louisiana received approval to build three new combined cycle combustion turbine generation facilities to support Meta's data center in Richland Parish, Louisiana. Two facilities will be located in Richland Parish and expected to be operational by late 2028, and the third at the Waterford site in St. Charles Parish, operational by the end of 2029. Additionally, new transmission facilities will be built to serve the data center and improve grid reliability. Entergy is also authorized to procure up to 1,500 MW of solar resources through an expedited certification process. Meta will pay its share of infrastructure costs, protecting other customers from these expenses.
