Meta Hyperion Data Center Project

Meta is developing a massive data center complex called Hyperion in Louisiana, spanning 4 million square feet on 2,250 acres. The project is expected to consume up to five gigawatts of electricity. To support this, Entergy Corp. received regulatory approval to construct three gas plants producing about 2.3 gigawatts and applied to add more natural gas generation to the grid to meet increasing demand from data centers including Meta's.
