Meta-VET – the next era in VET – 3rd Phase

The MetaVET3 project is a proposal for an operational grant awarded to the European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB) to advance its mission of fostering high-quality, inclusive, and forward-looking vocational education and training (VET). Building on the success of its predecessor phases, under the 3 years plan, MetaVET3 supports the implementation of activities that align with the strategic objectives of the European Education Area (EEA), contributing to the green and digital transitions, inclusivity, and excellence in VET systems. The project is structured around two core Work Packages (WPs): Work Package 1: Support to Operations, focuses on the design and execution of key activities that directly benefit EVBB members and stakeholders, such as research on VET, the celebration of VET Day, annual Policy Camps, international study visits, and the dissemination of position papers and podcasts. These activities aim to enhance policy advocacy, member engagement, and capacity-building across the VET sector. Work Package 2: Support to Functioning, ensures the operational sustainability of the project, including the recruitment and retention of skilled staff, thereby maintaining the administrative and strategic excellence required to implement the project effectively. MetaVET3 leverages EVBB’s extensive network, engaging grassroots VET providers, policymakers, industry leaders, and learners in a collaborative ecosystem. The operational grant facilitates the development and dissemination of innovative tools, best practices, and policy recommendations while fostering international cooperation and dialogue.
